Using BMW 5xx brake pads FDB779 with stock 284mm discs and stock calipers.
Caution, FDB779 are 1mm thicker !

The BMW FDB779 pads fit perfectly the GTV calipers. The BMW pads have same width but are almost 10mm taller, which means the contact surface is bigger.
However the BMW pads are 1mm thicker so be carefull when fitting both new pads and discs, when hot your brakes may lock due to the heat expansion.
